David Schuemann is Owner and Creative Director of the Napa based graphic design firm, CF Napa, LLC. As the creative lead David takes a hands-on approach, participating in every aspect of a project, from conception to completion. With his straight-forward style and endless creativity, David inspires his design team to realize the creative excellence that CF Napa is known for. CF Napa’s work in corporate/brand identity, package design, and print collateral has been recognized by many competitions for outstanding design, including the Mobius Awards, American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the Western Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, HOW International Design Awards, The New York Festivals, Print International, and Step Inside Design magazine. CF Napa’s work is on display in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, the National Design Museum in New York, and the American Design Archives in the Denver Art Museum. David holds a BFA from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and has continued with post-graduate education, including successfully completing the AIGA Harvard Business School Program, Business Perspectives for Design Leaders. Originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, David currently lives in Napa, California with his wife Lisa and two children, Aidan and Parker.
